On Friday, November 15, 2024, the Mongolian chamber music unit “Tenger Ayalguu” came to the Okazaki Production Facility of Fujita Rashi Kougyou Co., Ltd. to give a concert. Many employees, including technical intern trainees from Mongolia, attended the concert to experience Mongolian music, which they rarely have a chance to hear in daily lives.
In the concert, they performed “Khoomii,” which is sung by vocalizing high and low voices at the same time, and traditional Mongolian music using folk instruments as the matouqin.
The participants were surprised to see the instruments for the first time, but were soothed by their beautiful sounds, and some of the technical trainees from Mongolia shed tears.
We appreciate this precious experience offered by Tenger Ayalguu and all those involved in this cultural exchange opportunity. Thank you very much.
